Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
• Understanding of GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintains the general ledger and closes monthly books.
• Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes monthly books.
• Reconciles bank accounts monthly and addresses bank inquiries.
• Reconciles customer accounts and payment accuracy.
• Supports external auditors and gathers necessary documents for audits.
• Files required tax forms with federal, state, and local agencies.
• May assist payroll, fixed assets, and trial balances as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
