Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in a complex business environment.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and account analysis.
• Experience supporting tax-related schedules, filings, or reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and close schedules for a complex, multi-location transportation business.
• Reconcile floorplan activity, vehicle financing transactions, payoffs, interest charges, lender schedules, and related inventory balances.
• Analyze financial statements, account activity, cash trends, floorplan balances, and operational data to identify discrepancies, risks, and process improvements.
• Investigate complex accounting issues, determine root causes, and recommend practical, timely solutions.
• Work with the Controller, accounting team, and operational departments to ensure accurate reporting, timely reconciliations, and efficient accounting processes.
