Ohanian Tax Services, PC in Fresno, CA is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for a full-time, hybrid role. You will prepare individual and business tax returns, perform general ledger reconciliations, and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

You’ll review work from junior staff, ensure tax compliance with federal and California regulations, maintain thorough documentation, and help drive process improvements with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or EA license required or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
• Strong general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks and leading tax platforms; strong Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and maintain high attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Prepare individual and business tax returns and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Review work prepared by junior staff and ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Respond to client inquiries and support tax planning engagements.
• Maintain documentation and workpapers; assist with internal controls and process improvements.
