Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Principal SRE to join our InfoSec SRE team, building secure, scalable infrastructure in AWS/GCP. You’ll own automation, security integration, and production reliability for enterprise, SaaS, and cloud services.

The role emphasizes FedRAMP/DoD alignment, CI/CD orchestration, and leadership in a high-visibility, disruptive security environment. Strong scripting and cloud security expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years in SRE/DevOps with 2+ years handling US federal deliverables.
• 4+ years AWS/GCP architecture, Kubernetes, container networking, and Linux administration.
• Expert-level Terraform and Helm for IaC; CI/CD with GitHub, GitLab or Jenkins.
• Deep cloud security architecture, vulnerability management, and networking.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting; strong troubleshooting for cloud infra.
• Experience with full lifecycle configuration management.

Responsabilités

• Architect Federal Resilience: design, build, and operate secure multi-cloud infra (AWS/GCP) for FedRAMP/DoD.
• Strategic Automation Leadership: lead IaC/MaC automation for deployments and observability.
• DevSecOps Orchestration: integrate security/compliance into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins).
• Operational Excellence: drive RCA for incidents and participate in on-call rotations; apply GitOps.
• Innovation & Mentorship: foster Community of Practice, incorporate AI tools, mentor teams on modern SRE practices and security.
