Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead the reliability, scalability, and performance of a compliance automation platform within the Identity Security and Access Management organization.

You will own observability, incident response, and continuous improvement of cloud-native services and CI/CD pipelines, enabling faster software delivery with automation-first practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 3+ years of related experience (Required)
• 4-7+ years relevant experience in a DevOps/Agile environment (Required)
• Experience in one or more of: C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, Go, or scripting in Shell/Perl (Required)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CloudBees) and automation tooling (Required)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud environments (Preferred)
• Knowledge of AppDynamics and Splunk for monitoring and logging (Required)

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability strategy for a rapidly growing compliance automation platform
• Partner with engineers, compliance professionals, and AI solutions to modernize access governance
• Build and enhance observability, resilience, and automation across cloud-native services
• Influence operational foundations where AI agents and humans collaborate to execute compliance functions
• Mentor engineers and vendor resources to support team development and performance
• Architect scalable automation frameworks for expanding control types and compliance domains
• Design automated validation patterns to ensure repeatable, auditable output quality at scale
