Nscale, the GPU cloud for AI, seeks a senior SRE to set reliability standards for production services and elevate the team toward higher availability. You will own the hardest problems, mentor peers, and shape scalable incident processes.

You will lead design reviews, build tooling to reduce toil, and ensure reliability is built in from the start. Requires 6–10 years in SRE or related fields, strong Python/Go, Kubernetes, Linux, and on-call leadership.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years in SRE, systems engineering, or software engineering with production ownership at scale.
• Strong software engineering skills (Python, Go, or similar) building reusable tools.
• Deep command of Linux, networking, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and virtualized or bare-metal environments.
• Experience running AI or GPU workloads or HPC, with depth to ramp up fast.
• Reliability practices: SLOs, observability, alerting at scale, on-call design.
• Senior voice in incidents and design reviews, able to decide under pressure.
• Mentor peers to raise the bar across the team.

Responsabilités

• Own reliability for critical production services end to end; set direction, not just respond to failures.
• Grow the team and mentor SREs through design reviews, pairing, and incident debriefs.
• Set standards for SLO framework, incident processes, and sustainable on-call.
• Engage early in design reviews to bake reliability in from the start.
• Lead the hardest incidents and root causes, turning them into preventive changes.
• Build tooling and automation to remove toil for the entire team.
