Qualifications

8+ years enterprise SQL engineering experience.
Deep PostgreSQL expertise.
DBT transformation experience.
Advanced query tuning and performance diagnostics.
Experience in financial or regulated environments.
Prior Level 2/3 SQL Support in large environments desired.

Responsibilities

Lead PostgreSQL architecture and performance optimization
Design and optimize complex SQL queries supporting APIs and DBT models
Analyze execution plans and tune high-volume workloads
Implement indexing and partitioning strategies
Conduct database health assessments and capacity planning
Develop SQL investigation playbooks for L2 escalations
