cnx is seeking a Senior SQL Server DBA to join our Omaha-based onsite team. You will manage complex SQL Server environments, implement Always On setups, and lead performance tuning and automation with PowerShell.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SQL Server database administration experience.
• Expert knowledge of backup/recovery, security, performance tuning, and high availability.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL Server environments for reliability and performance.
• Design and troubleshoot Always On Availability Groups and HA configurations.
• Lead query and index tuning and wait statistics analysis.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administration and monitoring.
• Support disaster recovery planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with SOX and CIS guidelines.
• Review code and plans; mentor junior engineers; collaborate across teams.
• Participate in monitoring improvements and proactive issue resolution.
