Luminous Tec, LLC is seeking a seasoned Manager of Database Administration. You will lead production MSSQL Server clusters and a team of DBAs, shaping standards, procedures, and hands-on troubleshooting of performance issues.

Responsibilities include optimizing performance, ensuring high availability, and driving architecture improvements while mentoring staff and collaborating with IT leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Seven years’ MSSQL support in high availability OLTP.
• Five years managing DBAs in similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of standards, processes and procedures for database operations.
• Ensure optimal performance, availability and scalability of critical databases.
• Lead troubleshooting of database performance or stability issues.
• Identify sub-optimal architecture and lead remediation projects.
• Create monitoring standards for complete visibility of operations.
