Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience related directly to SQL Server Database Administration.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
• Experience with visualization technologies such as VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Knowledge related to source/change control, bug tracking, and SDLC.
• Ability to appropriately handle confidential and/or sensitive materials.
• Willingness to work in groups and individually on large and small projects.
• Ability to document, explain, and present tasks related to decisions.

Responsibilities

• Administer all aspects of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Support migration of databases from SQL Server 2012 to 2016.
• Provide systems administration support including installations and configurations.
• Implement and support Microsoft Technologies.
• Perform backups of web, application, and database servers.
• Monitor database activities and space management.
