The role requires 5–6 years of relevant experience and expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, indexing, and CI/CD with Azure DevOps. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on modern capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five to six years of relevant experience.
• Strong SQL Server database engineering experience.
• Experience with Azure SQL, cloud database platforms, and ETL.
• Hands-on with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and PowerShell automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, views, and ETL solutions.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and workload optimization.
• Troubleshoot locking, blocking, deadlocks, concurrency, and bottlenecks.
• Design scalable data models and architectures for large OLTP environments.
• Collaborate with application teams on data access patterns and best practices.
• Implement modern SQL Server capabilities and drive database automation and CI/CD deployments.
