Job summary

AppLab Systems, Inc. is seeking an SQL BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain ETL processes supporting data integration and warehousing. You will work closely with data analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to ensure data is accurately and efficiently processed for analysis.

Responsibilities include design and maintenance of ETL flows, SQL databases, complex queries, and stored procedures, with emphasis on validation, error handling, performance, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SQL ETL Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend).
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes.
• Extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses/data marts.
• Implement data validation and error handling mechanisms.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and queries.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
• Develop stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support applications.
• Monitor and optimize ETL performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot database and ETL issues to ensure availability and integrity.
• Collaborate with data analysts/scientists to understand data requirements.
• Maintain documentation for ETL processes and data flows.
• Participate in code reviews and stay updated on ETL best practices.
