Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a senior SQL Developer to design, optimize, and support complex SQL solutions. You will partner with SSIS and Power BI teams to enable accurate reporting and scalable data flows.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience writing and optimizing complex T-SQL for SQL Server.
• Experience collaborating with ETL/data integration teams using SSIS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Partner with SSIS developers to support ETL packages and data flows.
• Collaborate with Power BI developers to ensure data models support reporting and dashboards.
• Perform data profiling, validation, and quality checks across source and target systems.
• Tune queries and indexes for performance on large, complex datasets.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications with stakeholders.
• Document data flows, schema changes, and processes for maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies, performance issues, and pipeline failures.
