Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. is seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator to support our corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will ensure high availability, reliability, and security of SQL Server environments that support critical business applications.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree and have over 7 years of experience in SQL Server database management. This position offers a four-day in-office work schedule, with no remote candidates considered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Basic SAP Basis experience, including SAP system administration and basic performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases across various environments.
• Manage SQL Server clustering, Always On Availability Groups, and disaster recovery configurations.
• Monitor system performance and resolve database issues proactively.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure database reliability and compliance.
