Job summary

Revolutional, a federal tech solutions provider, seeks a Senior SQL Database Engineer to support the Dept. of State IDEA program. You will drive data infrastructure forward, focusing on database architecture, dimensional modeling, SQL, and programming to deliver secure, mission-critical insights.

You will mentor a team, ensure data delivery and security, and optimize performance for 24x7 operations onsite during core hours.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in database engineering.
• Knowledge of ETL, SQL, MS Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with enterprise data management policies and processes.
• Experience with database implementations, design, SQL, and programming.
• Experience with dimensional data modeling and data warehouse schema design.
• Experience facilitating information discovery sessions with stakeholders and SMEs.
• Ability to map business and technical architecture to requirements.
• Experience in a deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with Cloud and DevOps principles (AWS preferred, Azure secondary).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
