Intelerad is seeking a Senior Software Developer focused on the data layer of the InteleOrchestrator team. You will modernize a SQL Server-backed platform, refactor schemas, and migrate data-access code to Kotlin and jOOQ, while maintaining live operation for clinicians.

You will lead migrations, optimize performance, and set data-access standards. The role emphasizes security, testing, and collaboration across Windows and Linux environments, with Canada/US operation considerations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years refactoring database code (SQL, schemas, data-access) for production.
• Expert-level T-SQL on Microsoft SQL Server with indexing strategy.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Liquibase or Flyway in Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong security practices for data access and SQL injection prevention.
• Experience delivering in agile teams using Gradle, Git, Windows and Linux.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex database refactoring across a large SQL Server schema.
• Diagnose performance via execution plans and indexed queries.
• Migrate legacy SQL to Kotlin and jOOQ repositories.
• Harden data access with parameterization and proper locking conventions.
• Build migration/upgrade pipelines with Gradle and CI/CD.
• Define SQL/data-access standards and contribute to roadmap.
• Mentor developers through code reviews and guidance.
