Job summary

Arrow International, Inc. is seeking a Software Test Engineer to develop and execute tests for handheld devices and gaming cabinets, interfacing with Game/System Development to resolve issues quickly.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in SQA, experience with Visual Studio and C/C++, and familiarity with TestRails/JIRA. The role includes mentoring junior engineers and leading inter-departmental project meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant SQA work experience.
• Academic/working knowledge of Visual Studio.
• Academic/work experience with C and/or C++.
• Academic/proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of the gaming industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, hold reviews, and execute test plans and scripts for new and existing game themes and systems.
• Follow all SQA work instructions daily.
• Submit and track product issues found during testing for resolution.
• Lead software defect scrub meetings and SQA milestone hand-offs with Development.
• Utilize databases for SQA functions and testing.
• Provide input to weekly project status reports for assigned projects.
• Prepare detailed Completion Reports at project end.
• Participate in root cause analysis and resolve issues with Product Development.
