Qualifications

• Minimum Education: None specified; however, must meet licensure standards as required by the issuing authority.
• Minimum Experience: Four (4) years total with at least three (3) years in the specialty area; professional organization membership preferred.
• Licensure Requirement: Tennessee State Speech Pathology Licensure with credential in the specialty area or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Advanced clinical practice including evaluation and specialized treatment and goal setting.
• Involves patient and family in treatment, coordinates with medical staff on progress and discharge planning.
• Provides mentorship and education, participates in developing standards of care and quality initiatives.
