Job summary

GA-Intelligence seeks a Senior Spectrum Warfare Forward Deployed Engineer to support the 53rd Wing and the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing at Eglin AFB, FL. This is a part-time embedded role: you will be based at Eglin and spend a recurring, predictable share of each week on site with the wings, while collaborating with our engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in RF systems, EW, SIGINT, or radar, including operational/test experience.
• Recognized technical authority in RF/EW with credibility among engineers and operators.
• Deep RF fundamentals: propagation, antennas, receivers, link budgets, emitters, and EW techniques.
• Proven hands-on engineering ability with Python, APIs, data pipelines, and DSP tooling.
• Experience applying AI/ML to RF or sensor data in real systems, not just research.
• Track record delivering capabilities into operational/test environments and adoption by users.
• Experience leading technical teams or setting direction for a program or account.
• Willingness to be based at Eglin AFB, FL with travel to ranges as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as GA-Intelligence's senior technical presence to the wings, maintaining a part-time on-site cadence.
• Set the technical approach for applying AI/ML to RF and EW problems across the account, and build the hard parts.
• Develop, deploy, and sustain AI-enabled RF capability within accreditation constraints.
• Lead design, build, and field deployment of a proliferated sensing network and RF front-end configurations.
• Build and maintain data pipelines moving RF data to usable signal data with labeling and feature extraction at scale.
• Apply ML to signal detection, classification, emitter characterization, anomaly detection, and geolocation.
• Support EW reprogramming and mission data workflows to shorten the sense-to-MDF timeline.
• Plan, execute, and analyze test events at Eglin ranges; translate feedback into actionable requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and analysts; raise the technical bar across RF and ML work.
• Drive adoption, train users, and ensure solutions survive real test schedules.
• Represent GA-Intelligence to senior government stakeholders and shape investments.
