Cardinal Health is seeking a Sr. Specialist in QC Microbiology to perform microbiological testing and environmental monitoring in controlled manufacturing areas.
You will work with project managers, manufacturing, and QA to ensure timely testing and release of products, and you will document OOS/OT results and investigations as needed. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Microbiology/Biology or related field and 2–4 years in pharmaceutical/biotech QC microbiology.
What a Sr. Specialist, QC Microbiology contributes to Cardinal Health:
Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications. Quality Control is responsible for the analysis or inspection of materials, components, products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards.
Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks. Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity. Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolve. Applies judgment within defined parameters. Receives general guidance, may receive more detailed instruction on new projects. Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy.
Core hours are Thur-Sun 8AM-6PM. Weekends, holidays, and extended shifts are possible depending on business needs.
Anticipated salary range: $68,500- $88,020
