Job summary

KP Recruiting Group is seeking an experienced Program Finance/EVM professional to own financial performance across defense programs. You will manage EVM data integrity, forecasting, and IPMR reporting, while creating budgets and reviewing variances. Strong SAP/COBRA experience and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Secret clearance are required. The role offers on-site collaboration with program and finance teams and opportunities to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Science, or related analytical field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience with COBRA and SAP.
  • 4–10+ years of experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Earned Value Management concepts and processes.
  • Experience with risk management, financial management, WBS, change management, cost estimating, and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with DFARS, ANSI-748-D, EVMIG, and NDIA Intent Guides.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) data integrity across multiple programs.
  • Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Analyze program profitability, cash flow, and financial performance.
  • Create, maintain, and update projects within SAP.
  • Ensure accuracy of Estimate at Completion (EAC) for assigned programs.
  • Prepare Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) Formats 1–5 and 7.
  • Create and review variance reports in partnership with CAMs.
  • Develop and maintain program baseline budgets for performance measurement.
  • Prepare proposal cost estimates and pricing data.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial and program analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to broader departmental goals.

Are you an experienced Program Finance / Earned Value Management professional looking for a high-impact role supporting complex defense programs?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of financial performance across multiple programs while working with EVM, SAP, COBRA, forecasting, cost analysis, program baselines, and government contracting.

What You’ll Own
  • Maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) data integrity across multiple programs

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Science, or related analytical field
  • 6+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience with COBRA and SAP
  • 4–10+ years of experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
