Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation in Austin is creating an International Client Services ECG team. You will onboard new brokers after licensing and, as a senior member, provide peer leadership and supervision.

Your client-facing role includes guiding inbound chats and secure messages for international clients with a full range of service and trading needs. As a supervisor, you will coordinate with ICD ECG managers to ensure reviews, complaints, and supervision tasks are completed, and you will

• Current and active FINRA Series 7, 63 or 66, and 9/10 supervisory licenses.
• Read and write at a professional level in English as well as Spanish or Mandarin/Cantonese.
• Minimum two years experience working in a client-facing role at Schwab.
• Flexibility to work chats, secure messages, or administrative / supervisory tasks as business needs change.
• Illustrated ability to leverage the Edge conversation model to maximize client satisfaction.
• Demonstrated excellence in key phone and/or ECG performance indicators.
• High level risk awareness to identify potential written complaint language.
• Active leader and contributor in meetings and team chats, with a desire to contribute to team engagement and learning.
• Leadership role in documented IDP or stated goal.

Responsibilities

Your Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to work with International Client Services ECG leadership to stand up a new team in our Austin location. As anInternational Client Services ECG Sr Specialist, you will help onboard brand-new brokers as they join the team after completing licensing. Then, as a senior member of team, you will continue as a peer leader and supervisor. Your client-facing role will be to take inbound chats and secure messages from international clients with a full range of service and trading needs. As a supervisor, you will work collaboratively with ICD ECG managers and other supervisors to ensure reviews, complaints, and other supervisory tasks are completed. Your skills will also be utilized to interact with clients and supervise interactions in multiple languages. What you have

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in client facing customer service roles.
• High flexibility in shift times as business needs change. This team may work slightly varied shift times to cover language needs. Chat lines are open from 5am-11pm CT.
• Experience serving international clients with issues such as W8s, new account requirements, policies, procedures, etc.
• A passion to continually expand and share your knowledge of personal finance, US and foreign markets, Schwab International products and services, and the needs of our diverse international client base.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities, including a language premium.
