Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or related field; advanced degree or certs preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in trust and estate administration; proven track record.
• Strong knowledge of trust and estate laws/regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to advise and deliver fiduciary strategies.
• Demonstrated fiduciary judgement and discretion.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop subject matter expertise in fiduciary areas.
• Serve as Trusted Advisor by building close client relationships and integrating fiduciary components with client goals.
• Anticipate client needs and coordinate with partners/external advisors.
• Support team in expanding and deepening relationships.
• Participate in client presentations and serve as fiduciary subject matter expert.
• Oversee administration of trust accounts ensuring compliance with documents and law.
• Review and interpret estate planning documents and administer income/principal timely.
• Coordinate resources (tax liaison, operations, in-house counsel) for fiduciary responsibilities.
• Manage due diligence on new fiduciary appointments.
• Aim to improve client satisfaction and retention.
• Identify at-risk clients and resolve issues to drive retention.
