Great Hearts Academies in Buckeye, AZ is seeking an Academy Exceptional Student Services Lead Coordinator to guide the ESS department on campus. This leadership role focuses on coordinating IEP meetings, developing ESS staff, ensuring compliance with state and federal timelines, and aligning the team with the academy’s classical liberal arts mission.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), at least 3 years as an ESS coordinator, and an AZ Special Education Teaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a special education coordinator.
• Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate (AZ Mild to Moderate or K-12 Cross-Categorical) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the caseload distribution discussions and final assignment decisions.
• Coordinates, facilitates, and executes IEP reviews and meetings.
• Manages related service provider relationships and data reporting.
• Leads ESS team development and training with ESSCs and staff.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal timelines and standards.
