Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a police officer, correction, or probation/parole officer.
• Experience performing criminal investigations in a government setting or related field.
• Completion of a state or federal law enforcement academy is preferred; required if selected.
• Prior supervisory experience and security threat group investigation exposure are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned Special Agents and Intelligence Analysts and oversee investigations.
• Understand laws, regulations, and department rules to apply them in the field.
• Identify training needs and develop staff training; review reports for clarity.
• Oversee criminal and administrative investigations, including extortion cases, with partners.
