Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science required.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in spacecraft navigation or estimation.
• Proficiency in Matlab and C++ with Kalman filter design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and tune navigation and estimation algorithms (EKF/UKF) for spacecraft and orbital transfer vehicles.
• Perform orbit determination, attitude determination, astrodynamic trajectories, and navigation error budgets.
• Develop and validate sensor models (IMU, GNSS, star trackers, relative navigation).
• Implement navigation algorithms in flight code (C++) and support SIL/HIL testing.
• Run Monte Carlo analyses to characterize navigation performance under varied conditions.
• Generate navigation verification data across missions and support navigation operations.
• Communicate navigation design needs and risks to the broader engineering team.
