Job summary

EOI Space is seeking a Senior Spacecraft Integration Engineer to lead manufacturing and integration of spacecraft and components in Lafayette, CO. You will define processes, tooling, and documentation standards while coordinating with AI&T leadership to align with mission objectives.

You will oversee GSE/STE design, data handling, and compliance packages, ensuring timely completion of multiple manufacturing efforts and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proven organizational skills with multi-project management.
  • Demonstrated mastery of mechanical and electrical first principles.
  • Knowledge and use of ASME and aerospace engineering standards.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and testing to verify concepts.
  • Familiarity with traditional machining, CNC, and additive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Execute spacecraft manufacturing and integration tasks.
  • Plan, document, and support manufacturing setups across engineering disciplines.
  • Plan and conduct manufacturing reviews.
  • Design GSE/STE with GD&T and tolerance analysis for safe handling and integration.
  • Prepare and deploy GSE/STE hardware for spacecraft subsystems.
  • Own GSE sell-off to launch providers and range safety; support reviews.
  • Support environmental and functional test campaigns per standards.
  • Enforce AI&T procedures and data handling across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and internal quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with subsystem REs and program management to align activities with objectives.
  • Present at program reviews and risk assessments.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet the program schedule.
  • Verify vendor-delivered equipment meets specs.
