Job summary

Aurex is seeking an experienced engineer specializing in Spacecraft Attitude Control Systems to support the Space and Launch Division in Chantilly, VA. The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and will focus on analysis, architecture, requirements development, and verification of Attitude Control sub-systems.

Responsibilities include evaluating control algorithms, reviewing contractor designs, and coordinating with bus leads to ensure spacecraft bus integration, testing, and readiness

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Astronautical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of professional experience in space systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the ACS subsystem design, integration and test.
• Review and coordinate changes to specifications and system-level requirements for the ACS subsystem.
• Provide expert analysis on ACS considerations for new satellite/payload developments.
• Coordinate with bus development POC, S&L subsystem leads, and division chiefs.
