Job summary

Blackstone Talent Group seeks a Sr. Systems Test Engineer to join our Space Systems Test & Integration team, supporting MDSEA. Lead verification, validation, integration, and mission readiness across satellite ground systems with hands-on IT infra, test automation, and DevSecOps pipelines.

You will coordinate with multiple vendors, engineering teams, and government stakeholders, guiding DT/OT events and readiness reviews to ensure compliant, secure mission systems.

Qualifications

• Senior system test engineering experience in complex enterprise IT or space-ground environments.
• Strong leadership and cross-team coordination across vendors and government stakeholders.
• Experience with test planning, verification methodologies and V-model.
• Proven ability to develop automated test scripts and CI/CD pipelines.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system level test strategies, plans, procedures, and verification artifacts.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure test standardization and performance targets.
• Coordinate test activities across vendors, teams, Agile groups, and government stakeholders.
• Manage the Integrated Master Test Schedule for DT/OT events and readiness reviews.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, performance, cybersecurity tests.
• Validate software builds and configurations for enterprise satellite ground components.
• Test IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and virtual environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for DevSecOps CI/CD.
• Support IaC, automated builds, deployments and integration workflows.
• Document anomalies, lead triage, and coordinate root-cause analyses.
• Produce test reports, risk summaries, and brief leadership/government stakeholders.
• Support cybersecurity compliance and test documentation quality.
