You will lead modernization efforts, architect distributed systems, and mentor engineers while delivering secure, scalable software across ground and flight segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience leading modernization or distributed systems projects.
• Experience architecting microservices, APIs, and high-availability systems.
• Experience with DoD/IC programs or DevSecOps on classified systems.

Responsibilities

• Build modern full-stack applications for space mission systems.
• Modernize legacy space-ground software.
• Develop distributed applications with microservices and cloud-native architectures.
• Support on-orbit and ground system integration, emulation, and test.
• Implement DevSecOps pipelines and secure testing practices.
• Develop modern UI/UX interfaces for operators and analysts.
• Collaborate with space system engineers, mission integrators, and operations teams.
• Contribute to engineering culture and product shaping.
