Job summary

Astrion seeks a Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer for the Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO) of the US Space Force, stationed at Los Angeles AFB in El Segundo, CA. This full-time role focuses on developing mission-specific M&S services and validating models for cross-portfolio simulations across SATCOM, PNT, and missiles systems.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in a STEM field, 15+ years of experience, and a proven track record in leading technical implementations, V&V activities,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field is required.
• 15+ years of experience in a STEM field with emphasis in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Earth Science, Mathematics, Operations Analysis or related field.
• Experience designing, developing, deploying, and upgrading complex technical systems within the SSIO mission space.

Responsibilities

• Support SSIO with development of mission-specific M&S services and accurate scenario outcomes.
• Establish MS&A verification and validation procedures for MS&A tools and software upgrades.
• Collaborate with SSC offices to define and prioritize M&S for key systems.
