Revolution Space is seeking a Systems Engineer to drive the full life cycle development of propulsion products, from customer requirements through operations. You will interface with customers, lead cross-disciplinary teams, and ensure system-level requirements are defined and verified.

The role emphasizes collaboration across hardware, software, and fluid systems to enable innovative electrospray propulsion integration. This is a full-time remote position with immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, physics or a related STEM field.
• 15+ years of space systems development experience.
• Knowledge of spacecraft/satellite needs and requirements.
• Knowledge of space industry standards, protocols, and constraints related to flight and ground system development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong focus on quality and reliability.
• Strong communication and documentation skills to collaborate across engineering disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Define mission operations concepts and product requirements for various spacecraft and missions.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to define space system program architecture and interfaces.
• Serve as the interface between program management and the technical team.
• Create, manage, and verify space system program level requirements.
• Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Requirements Documents (IRDs).
• Coordinate with Systems Engineering to define design and implementation options.
