The Boeing Company seeks a Space Systems Engineer (Lead, Senior) to join its Experimental Systems Group in Seal Beach or El Segundo, CA. The role focuses on end-to-end space system test programs, integration and verification across spacecraft, ground systems, and interfaces, with leadership of small teams. On-site work is required with a U.S.

Top Secret/SCI clearance expected. You will develop test requirements, configurations and scripts, support software integration, and help drive test

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Level 4: Typically 9+ years of related work experience.
• 2+ years of Systems engineering experience.
• 2+ years of Verification and validation of complex systems experience.
• 2+ years of Space systems integration and test experience.
• 1+ years of team leadership and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform end-to-end space system test programs for spacecraft, ground systems and interfaces.
• Develop test requirements, configurations, procedures and scripts.
• Support software integration, test and debugging across system elements.
• Perform hardware/software integration and lab testing using EDUs, emulators and simulations.
• Assist with spacecraft flight hardware testing and data collection, review and analysis.
• Design and operate Special Test Equipment (STE).
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues identified during testing or operation.
• Support system verification, validation, sell-off, launch and operations readiness activities.
• Lead small teams and projects, supporting IPT planning and cost/schedule control.
• Collaborate across disciplines and communicate status to leadership.
