Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist, Systems Engineer in Palm Bay, FL. The role focuses on providing systems engineering support and leadership across space-based subsystems within the Space & Mission Systems Segment, specifically the Surveillance Systems Division.

Work spans the full lifecycle from pursuit to operations. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, perform MBSE tasks, and coordinate with customers while maintaining schedule, cost, and technical

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years in systems engineering or related aerospace field.
Graduate Degree with 4+ years of experience, or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience with aerospace programs and multi-disciplinary teams.
TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Provide systems engineering leadership for space-based and related subsystems across programs.
Architect, analyze, model, verify complex designs across electrical, mechanical, optical, RF, software, systems, and hardware domains.
Lead program technical and management leadership and coordinate with system integration and test teams.
Support proposal, execution, and operations across full lifecycle, including SRR, PDR, CDR and TIM.
