Job summary

Vantor in the United States is seeking a hybrid Systems Engineer and Acquisition Logistics Specialist to lead integration plans for space and ground systems, work with DoD programs, and help move capabilities from concept to mission-ready.

The role requires 7+ years of space-based program integration, DoD acquisition experience, and security clearance. You will collaborate across disciplines to mitigate risks and shape sustainment guidance, with on-site 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in STEM
• 7+ years of experience with space-based program integration, systems engineering, and logistics planning of Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs)
• Experience with DoD acquisition program management, acquisition planning, sustainment infrastructure, and organizational planning
• Experience with subsystem hardware or software alignment
• Experience with system integration risk mitigation
• Experience with system integration test analysis
• Experience with configuration change control
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integration plans for space and ground systems across system-of-systems, system, segment, and element levels
• Test, analyze, evaluate, verify, and validate system performance; identify risks and mitigate accordingly
• Research emerging requirements, technologies, and threats; help shape policies and documentation for system life cycles and sustainment
