Job summary

K2 Space, a visionary space startup in Los Angeles, is on the hunt for a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the transformation of solar array designs into reliable, flight-ready hardware. You will own critical manufacturing processes end-to-end and drive process development to ensure high-performance solar hardware is built with precision. If you have a B.S. in engineering and over 5 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, we want to hear from you! Competitive salary of $140k–$175k plus equity awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing, production, or hands-on engineering environment.
• Experience working with photovoltaic modules or electromechanical array assemblies.
• Strong track record of driving DFM improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing processes for solar modules from development through production.
• Develop, qualify, and maintain assembly procedures.
• Drive design-for-manufacturing feedback to improve designs.
