Job summary

Lucix Corporation in California, USA, part of HEICO’s Electronic Technologies Group, seeks an experienced Sr. Software Program Manager to lead software-intensive space programs and coordinate an IPT across software, systems, hardware, operations and quality.

You will own software program execution through the development life cycle, drive plans, milestones, staffing, dependencies and risk mitigation, and report status to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum eight years in software development or software engineering management.
• Experience leading software development schedules, integration, verification and releases.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, DevSecOps and CI/CD practices.
• Aerospace/defense software program experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage program cost, schedule and technical performance according to budget and customer requirements.
• Lead the Integrated Product Team (IPT) through matrix management of Software, Systems, Hardware Engineering, Operations, Quality and Finance resources.
• Own software program execution across the development life cycle, including requirements, architecture/planning, implementation, integration, verification/validation, release and sustainment activities.
• Establish development plans, sprint/release objectives, milestones, staffing needs, dependencies and completion criteria with software leadership.
• Monitor software execution using Agile/Scrum sprints, iterative/spiral development, backlog/burndown, DevSecOps and CI/CD.
