Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with strong technical background required.
• Experience with MBSE and system engineering methods preferred.
• Ability to translate sponsor priorities into actionable technical objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership to shape the System Engineering Team's scope.
• Build relationships with NSP senior leadership and government stakeholders across missions.
• Define and execute technical objectives aligned with sponsor priorities and MITRE capabilities.
• Translate project strategy into actionable outcomes, deliverables, and technical products.
• Identify research and innovation to strengthen project impact and sponsor objectives.
• Ensure technical quality through reviews, knowledge management, and program execution reviews.
• Develop and execute mission-focused staffing in collaboration with staff resourcing.
• Collaborate across MITRE and sponsors to inform operational trade space decisions.
• Lead project administration: financial tracking, documentation, coordination, reporting, facilities.
• Oversee staff onboarding and access to required systems and facilities.
• Coordinate with NSP work program to ensure cohesive delivery.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, network engineering, system engineering, physics, applied mathematics, aerospace, software development for engineering/physical systems, mechanical engineering, or related discipline and work experience with a strong technical background
