Job summary

Star Catcher Industries, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL, is hiring an Electrical Engineer - Power Electronics to design high-power converters, regulators, and power conditioning for space-to-space beaming hardware.

You'll develop isolated and non-isolated topologies, perform thermal/EMI analysis, support prototype bring-up, qualification, and documentation in a fast-paced aerospace environment, and contribute to radiation-tolerant designs and TVAC testing per MIL-STD standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in power electronics design.
• Experience with high-power regulators and power conditioning systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and execute power electronics circuits and topologies.
• Simulate and analyze power circuits for efficiency and EMI/EMC.
• Support schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototype testing.
• Create test plans and document design analyses and results.
