Job summary

MTSI is seeking a senior PM&A S professional to support development of first-of-kind space vehicles and missions at Kirtland AFB, NM. The role provides SETA support to the Space Rapid Capabilities Office with leadership to deliver high-impact space capabilities quickly.

The candidate should bring deep DoD/IC experience, subject-matter expertise in satellite systems, and a track record of integrating hardware and software in fast-paced, classified environments.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of DoD/IC or equivalent experience.
• Experience in development and fielding satellite systems.
• Understanding of operational environment and mission user needs.
• Experience with electronic warfare principles and operations.
• Experience delivering space systems to user communities.
• Knowledge of space system engineering, development, and manufacturing.
• DoD program management experience including development and transition.
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedules and risk management.
• Experience with SOW and PWS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as program advisory lead for time-critical technical projects or tasks.
• Leverage prior space systems experience to aid program offices.
• Assist acquisition planning, market research, and drafting technical requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to verify program needs and goals.
• Assess technical sufficiency, cost, quality, and timely delivery of deliverables.
• Provide technical advice and help resolve problems with engineers.
• Support management and execution of multi-project programs and resources.
• Develop Monthly Status Reports on efforts, status, and performance.
• Draft, review, and edit program reports, documents, and briefings.
• Coordinate acquisition planning and documentation for systems acquisition.
• Interface with external agencies and units to align requirements.
