Job summary

Delta Solutions And Strategies seeks a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join a high-performance team supporting US Space Command. You will contribute to planning, risk analysis, and certification for complex network operations, while interfacing with customers to align system requirements with current infrastructure.

The role requires a DoD KSAT-compliant background, TS/SCI clearance, and hands-on experience with multiple OS environments, VMware, and secure network design.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution fulfills the educational requirement.
• Minimum of six (6) years of technical experience performing the duties described.
• Meets the KSATs defined in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework for Work Role 651.
• Experience maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies in accordance with government and accreditation standards.
• Experience with operating systems such as Solaris, Linux, Windows OS and VMware.
• Experience with configuration, installation, vulnerability identification and assessments, and security fortification of fiber and Ethernet networks.
• Experience developing and maintaining CSIRs, PMI reports, and architectural drawings.
• Experience interacting with customers to develop and review communication system requirements and integrate systems for interoperability.
• Experience developing and reviewing CR/TS.
• Experience maintaining PMI and repair schedules.
• Required: CompTIA Sec+ and one of: FITSP-D, GDSA, CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, or GSEC.
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI Required

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification, and awareness activities for system and networking operations.
• Provide engineering and implementation solutions, assisting with HQ USSPACECOM communications and computer requirement documents.
• Support examining mission requirements and assist in developing technical requirements for multi-level classification networks and releasable classification levels.
• Interact with customers/users to develop and review communication system requirements and ensure interoperability.
• Perform risk assessments, cybersecurity engineering, and technical security assessments; recommend solutions.
• Participate in planning forums, briefings, conferences, and meetings for internal and external resource updates; perform systems architecture, design, planning, and integration.
