Job summary

True Anomaly in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Hardware and Environments Test Engineer (III‑Senior) to lead test campaigns for aerospace defense systems. You will develop test plans, execute tests, collect data, analyze results, and ensure compliance with performance and environmental requirements.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, experience safely handling flight hardware, and strong skills in data analysis, systems engineering, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• Demonstrated experience in safely handling, operating, and testing flight hardware.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and technical documentation skills.
• Experience with hardware test campaigns and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead multiple test campaigns for major programs, including requirements verification and execution oversight.
• Interface with program leadership, customers, regulatory bodies, vendors, and technicians during design reviews and test events.
• Author and review test documentation including plans, procedures, readiness reports, and compliance matrices.
• Analyze test data, lead root cause investigations, and resolve anomalies and nonconformances.
• Serve as Test Director ensuring safety protocols and facility compliance throughout testing cycles.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.
