Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Space Enterprise System Engineer to join the Air Force, Space, and Intelligence Business Group in Chantilly, VA. The role provides SE/TA services to a senior government Director, shaping next-generation space programs across space and ground systems.

The ideal candidate holds TS/SCI with Poly, extensive NRO experience, and exceptional communication skills to coordinate multi-organizational projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of experience (or higher degrees with relevant years).
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly.
• Experience with NRO Enterprise Protection Requirement Document (EPRD).
• Experience with Cislunar programs.
• Effective communication, coordination and customer engagement skills.
• Strong written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to operate independently.

Responsibilities

• Establishes common, baseline protection requirements for the physical layer, to include leveraging acquisition and risk management processes for implementation.
• Develops Data Management Strategy with plans to make mission data more discoverable and accessible.
• Organizes and coordinates across multiple organizations for planning and executing complex space system acquisition at the Office level.
• Leads, facilitates, and actively participates in technical interchange meetings between multiple organizations.
