Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a MAR/SOX compliance specialist to support risk assessment and annual reporting to the Department of Insurance. The role requires strong auditing knowledge, IT controls understanding, and the ability to document processes and tests.

You will collaborate with management to obtain approvals, perform peer reviews, and assist auditors to reduce workload and improve efficiency. A solid background in COSO/ COBiT and healthcare/insurance controls is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of auditing standards and work paper documentation.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of IT general controls, COSO and COBIT concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support MAR/SOX compliance efforts and annual reporting processes.
• Perform risk assessments and document processes, controls, and test plans.
• Identify remediation for unmitigated risks and communicate with management.
• Prepare MAR/SOX documentation including narratives, control descriptions and matrices.
• Peer review testing conclusions and related documents for quality and standards.
• Assist in risk assessment across applicable entities and ensure remediation execution.
• Participate in project work to improve MAR team efficiency and quality.
• Support auditors and management to minimize duplication of efforts.
