Job summary

LaSalle Network in Rosemont, Illinois is seeking a Senior Internal Financial Auditor to strengthen the SOX controls environment. You will collaborate with business partners and audit teams to assess risk, improve processes, and support internal and external audits.

The Direct Hire role offers a competitive salary; 4 days onsite and 1 day WFH, with benefits including medical, dental and vision, plus discretionary bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of audit experience (public or internal).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Experience supporting SOX controls and related documentation (risk/control matrices, flowcharts, walkthroughs).
• CPA or CIA (or in process for the certification).

Responsibilities

• Maintain SOX risk and control matrices and process flowcharts; identify areas for control or documentation improvements.
• Facilitate annual SOX walkthrough and SOC1 process with business partners and audit teams.
• Assist with risk assessment and control evaluation for new accounting standards and system changes.
• Analyze control exceptions and coordinate remediation with management.
• Support internal and external audit planning and engagements.
• Educate business partners on SOX control requirements.
• Assist with SOX scoping, quarterly reporting, and program administration.
• Contribute to special projects related to accounting and financial reporting.
