Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Specialist to own end-to-end procurement of critical mechanical hardware for Starship. You will quote, negotiate, and place orders while aligning specifications, costs, and schedules.

The role involves forecasting demand, evaluating supplier capacity, and ensuring uninterrupted supply for aggressive development timelines. You will manage supplier performance, communicate changes, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive timely, cost-efficient outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement of complex mechanical hardware.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Proven track record of managing supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing across precision-machined components, forgings, castings and related parts.
• Quote, negotiate, and place POs aligning specs, cost, and delivery.
• Forecast demand and manage PO flow to sustain development and production.
• Track supplier performance and drive improvements.
