Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a vascular ultrasound technologist for a Monday–Friday Day shift in Georgia. You will perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging per protocols.

• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs.
• Ability to perform all vascular ultrasound exams.

Responsibilities

• Verifies proper clinician order for procedure.
• Obtains complete clinical history and assesses contraindications.
• Manages contrast administration safely and efficiently.
• Ensures correct patient identification and proper marker usage.
• Reviews ultrasound images and releases patients.
• Responds to emergencies and restocks crash cart.
• Assists other technologists in multiple modalities as needed.
• Maintains patient privacy and comfort; upholds dignity during exams.
