Job summary

Neurair is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to bridge customers and our cooling and modular data center solutions. You will lead technical discovery, develop CDU-based architectures, and craft sizing analyses, RFI/RFP responses, and deployment support across global customer sites and partner facilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, thermal management, or critical facilities engineering with hands-on exposure to liquid cooling.
• Proven experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or applications engineering in a customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of data center mechanical and electrical fundamentals including heat rejection, hydronics, pump systems, power distribution, and redundancy topologies.
• Ability to produce clear technical deliverables including proposals, sizing calculations, and questionnaire responses.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%, including international travel.

Neurair delivers liquid cooling infrastructure for AI compute, including an in-row liquid-to-liquid direct-to-chip CDU product line in 1.3 MW, 2.5 MW, and 4 MW configurations, deployed across OEM and ODM GPU rack platforms.

Neura Infra, our modular data center entity, designs and delivers prefabricated AI data center modules in 2.5 MW, 5 MW, and 10 MW configurations, built around NVIDIA GB300 and Vera Rubin class platforms and delivered through a global network of fabrication and integration partners.

About the Role

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge between our customers and our solutions.

You will lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle from end to end, including customer requirement qualification, CDU and modular data center solution development, technical proposals and sizing analyses, RFI/RFP responses, technical questionnaires, and deployment support through commissioning.

The role involves direct engagement with customers, channel partners, fabrication partners, and OEM/ODM stakeholders, with significant interaction at customer sites and partner facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Solution Development

• Lead technical discovery with customers, capture requirements, and translate them into CDU selections, cooling architectures, and modular data center configurations.
• Develop and present technical proposals, sizing analyses covering flow rates, approach temperatures, and redundancy topologies, and basis-of-design inputs for CDU sales and modular data center projects.
• Lead responses to RFIs, RFPs, and technical screening questionnaires, including OEM ecosystem and platform qualification processes.

System Integration

• Support rack-level and facility-level integration planning, including TCS loop design coordination, CDU placement, electrical interfaces, and controls/BMS integration using Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, and RS485.

Customer & Technical Engagement

• Deliver technical briefings and training to customers, partners, and internal sales teams on liquid cooling best practices and product differentiators.
• Work closely with customers and technical stakeholders to address solution requirements and support successful project execution.
• Support factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, installation oversight, commissioning, and post-deployment troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support throughout deployment activities and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

Product & Partner Development

• Provide customer and field feedback to product management and engineering teams to help shape the product roadmap.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with fabrication, MEP, and integration partners across regions.

Qualifications

Required

• 7+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, thermal management, or critical facilities engineering, with hands‑on exposure to liquid cooling, including direct-to-chip cooling, CDUs, TCS loops, or high‑density compute environments.
• Proven experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or applications engineering, with demonstrated technical wins in a customer‑facing role.
• Strong understanding of data center mechanical and electrical fundamentals, including heat rejection, hydronics, pump systems, power distribution, redundancy topologies such as N+1 and 2N, and rack‑level integration.
• Ability to produce clear and professional technical deliverables, including proposals, sizing calculations, single‑line and P&ID‑level markups, and questionnaire responses.
• Ability to operate independently across time zones with distributed teams and partners.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%, including international travel.

Preferred

• Professional fluency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Experience with NVIDIA GPU platforms, including HGX, GB200/GB300, and Vera Rubin class platforms, and their facility requirements.
• Experience with prefabricated or modular data center delivery or DfMA construction methods.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience working with ODM manufacturing partners in Taiwan, China, or Mexico.
• Familiarity with coolant chemistry, including PG25 and similar coolants, and coolant quality management.
• Degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent field experience.
