Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Senior Solutions Development Engineer to support engineering and sales with technical solutions and analysis. You will act as a technical resource for the organization, develop and provide engineering solutions, and resolve customer issues using internal and external resources.

The role includes supporting design reviews, product development, and collaboration with consultants and suppliers to drive innovative HVACR solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience in related subject matters.
• Laboratory and experience in compressor and system design and testing.
• Strong Technical and analytical skills.
• Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in an environment of teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide Customer Support with Potential Solutions.
• Support Sales with estimated compressor performance and system solutions.
• Interface with External Consultants, Contractors and Suppliers as required.
• Analyze, Develop and implement Solutions.
• Engage with and support Design Reviews.
• Support the Field support team with Analysis/Input for Workarounds and Solutions.
• Research and Recommend new Technologies.
• Recommend Product Enhancements and new approaches.
• Engage with the Development of New Products.
• Provide expertise to the Engineering Team.

This position is responsible for supporting the engineering and sales team with technical solutions utilizing their knowledge and experience in a specific field. The individual will be a technical resource for the support of the organization and answer specific questions, develop and provide engineering solutions and analyze/resolve customer issues utilizing internal and external resources.
