Job description

Are you looking for limitless career opportunities with a company that values growth, innovation, and teamwork? At Ntiva, we’re more than a Managed Services Provider, we’re a community dedicated to helping each other, our clients, and their businesses thrive both personally and professionally. Ntiva is a culture of people who are passionate about the work…and each other.

Our clients view us as an essential part of their teams, relying on us for strategic guidance, fast solutions to complex challenges, and proactive support. With strategic locations across the U.S. and leadership from our founder, Steven Freidkin, we’re on the front lines of a fast-paced industry, facing cybersecurity threats and rapid technology changes together.

If you thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment and enjoy going above and beyond, we’d love to meet you. Come explore one of our many opportunities and grow with us!

How you'll make an impact

As a Senior Solutions Consultant at Ntiva, you will own the full new-logo sales cycle for managed IT and cybersecurity services, from first outreach to signed multi-year agreement. You will build most of your own pipeline through prospecting and an established network of SMB and mid-market decision makers. This is a senior, highly compensated role for a proven MSP seller. You will diagnose business problems, shape solutions with our technical teams, and close complex annuity deals that grow monthly recurring revenue (MRR). Success means consistently exceeding new-logo MRR targets while building long-term client partnerships.

Location and Work Expectations

  • This is a hybrid role based in the greater Washington DC area. It will be 80% remote and 20% travel.
  • Must be able to travel by car to client locations.
  • Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm EST.
What you will be doing
  • Win new-logo business for multi-year, annuity-based managed IT, cybersecurity, and cloud services agreements, and consistently exceed monthly and annual MRR targets.
  • Self-source a minimum of 50% of your annual quota through your own prospecting, outbound outreach, and professional network.
  • Build and run a disciplined prospecting plan that combines cold calling, targeted email, LinkedIn and social selling, referral partners, and personal contacts, alongside company-generated leads.
  • Develop and maintain a strong local network by attending and taking an active role in industry events, conferences, trade shows, and business associations in your territory.
  • Cultivate referral and channel relationships (vendors, CPAs, attorneys, consultants, and other advisors) that produce a steady stream of qualified introductions.
  • Lead consultative discovery with owners, CEOs, CFOs, and IT leaders to uncover business objectives, risk and compliance needs, and gaps in how their IT environment is managed.
  • Partner with Ntiva's technical, security, and project teams to scope complex solutions, including co-managed IT, cybersecurity and compliance, Microsoft 365, cloud, and network services.
  • Build and deliver executive-level presentations, proposals, and statements of work that make a clear financial and business case, handle objections, and negotiate terms that protect margin.
  • Manage multi-stakeholder, longer-cycle opportunities from first meeting through contract signature and a clean handoff to onboarding.
  • Keep an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in the CRM, clearly tracking self-sourced versus assigned opportunities.
  • Deliver accurate weekly forecasts and account plans in sales meetings, and keep leadership informed of deal status and risks.
  • Stay current on the MSP market, competitors, and emerging technologies through industry publications and vendor certifications.
  • Provide responsive, professional service to prospects and new clients throughout the sales cycle.
You'll be successful in this role if you have
  • A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of B2B technology sales or business development experience, selling cloud, software, IT, or cybersecurity services.
  • 5+ years in a quota-carrying role selling managed services for an MSP or MSSP, closing multi-year, recurring-revenue (MRR) agreements.
  • A documented record of meeting or exceeding quota in at least 3 of your last 4 years, with figures you can share.
  • A proven history of self-generating pipeline, with a substantial share of past closed revenue sourced through your own prospecting and network.
  • An established network of SMB and mid-market business owners, executives, and referral partners in the Greater Washington, DC area (DC, Northern Virginia, and suburban Maryland).
  • Experience closing deals with 50–500+ users and selling to multiple decision makers, including owners, CEOs, CFOs, and IT leaders.
  • Strong working knowledge of MSP offerings and pricing models, including per-user and per-device managed services, co-managed IT, cybersecurity and compliance, Microsoft 365, and cloud.
  • The ability to scope solutions with technical teams and build accurate proposals and statements of work.
  • Excellent discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Disciplined pipeline management and forecasting, with experience using a CRM and quoting system.
  • A competitive, self-motivated drive, paired with a collaborative, team-first approach.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory for client meetings, networking, and corporate events.
  • Experience with ConnectWise (Manage and Sell), HubSpot, and ZoomInfo.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, or vendor sales certifications.
  • Experience selling into regulated verticals such as healthcare, financial services, legal, or government contractors.
  • Project management skills or certification.
  • A Master's degree or MBA.
